Netball is a fast playing and very skilled sport. It is played all over the world including here in Bermuda!

The game is played on a 100ft x 50ft hard surface court, which is divided into thirds. At each end of the court there is a semi-circle, with a steel ringed, 10ft goal post erected from ground up.

There are two teams on the Netball Court at a time. Each team, consist of seven players, and the aim of the game is to score as many times as possible within the playing time of 60 minutes.

Rules:

· Once the player has caught the ball only two steps may be taken

· A player can only hold the ball for three seconds.

· A defending player must be three feet away from the player with the ball.

· Only players that are allowed to shoot are GS and GA

· Shots can only be taken from within the semicircle
