Welcome to the 2011 – 2012 Netball Season

To All Senior League Teams,

The Opening Ceremony, will be on held on Saturday 15th October 2011 at the Bernard Park Netball Courts, beginning at 5:30pm, with the Parade of Teams, Shooting Competition and Sylvia Eastley Tournament.

At this time it is expected that all teams appear uniform in their parade and game attire. ie.  shorts/skirts/bibs all same length and color. Only exception is religious dress code.

The Shooting Competition will promptly begin after the parade, with two(2) shooters from each team being allowed to enter.

The Sylvia Eastley Tournament will be single elimination (10 teams), two (2) – 7 minute halves, with team captains drawing letters from a hat (see attached schedule).

*Due to time constraints, some umpires remain un-tested, therefore, we request that each team provide an umpire and scorekeeper, until further notice.

I would like to wish you all the best in the opening tournament and this  Winter Season’s Competiton!

Sincerely,

Tracey Sharrieff
